An evening of meditation, indoor walking meditation and a chance to hear Michael's gentle thoughts about living happily in a tumultuous world.

Michael Ciborski began his training in mindfulness with Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh in Plum Village, France. He lived and worked intimately with Thich Nhat Hanh and the monastic community to organize, support, and offer meditation retreats around the world. In 1998, Michael received full precepts and became a Buddhist monk. In 2001, Thich Nhat Hanh ordained Michael as a Dharma teacher. Michael’s relaxed and light-hearted presence conveys the joy of the Dharma .

Michael returned to lay life in 2003. He is married to Fern Dorresteyn, also a Dharma Teacher . They have two children and live in New Hampshire, where they are building a mindfulness practice community for sustainable living called MorningSun.
